what is the exact difference between epilepsy and seizure. I'd like to know the difference in terminology point of view.

A seisure means you only have it one time for some reason. Epilepsy means that you get them often and for no reason. Its a chemical thing in your brain.

epilepsy is a disorder that causes seizures. a seizure is basically loss of function that can cause petite mal or grand mal movements. this can be caused by anumber of things from epilepsy to brain tumors or injuries..

Epilepsy is one cause of seizures, but there are other causes such as alcohol intoxication, drugs, brain hemorrages or tumors etc

Epilepsy is a disease of the brain, usually caused by lesions or scar tissue from an injury. Seziures, both petite and gran mal, are caused by the disease.
