i cant understand how a lot of men only care about sex and will use, lie, and do a lot of cruddy things to a woman just to sleep with her. how can this be? dont they get emotional when they have sex??when they see this warm loving caring woman in front of them who wants to treat them right and they f*ck her over?

because some girls are naive and don't have much respect for themselves. up your selfesteem and they might stick around and get to know you better.

That's a good question, but one that does not have a singular answer. I am forced to give some generalizations in this answer. Remember there is an exception to every rule and all men are not dogs. The biggest difference is that no we don't get as emotional as women when having sex. Men and women have different drives and different ways of looking at pretty much everything.
There are a lot of different reasons and factors for men acting the way they do regarding sex. Age is a big one. I notice you're 18 and seem a little bitter so I can only assume you've had a recent bad experience. Young men have a large sex drive, but emotionally they lack the communication tools that females develop earlier. Take a look at the way men communicate with each other and the way women do. Men have a shield, women feel everything.
Also at a young age there is peer pressure among boys. I've been there. It's about the conquest. We're are at our core animals who have instincts and roles. Men hunt and mate and women nurture. This is an established pattern. As men get older they will have different reasons for their actions. A rush from doing something dangerous, bordom, or variety.

The male sex drive can be completely detached from the man's emotional life. In other words, he can completely enjoy the experience for what it is: Sex.
(It's a drive, just like being really thirsty or really hungry, and so you feed yourself. The craving is satisfied and goes away. It doesn't matter what was consumed.)
Women are generally different. Sure, everyone is capable of wild sex, but for women the sex act usually reflects the emotional bond.
She needs a commitment and connection so that she can feel secure in what's happening; and when she has sex, it is usually a sign of commitment and love from her to the man.
So men and women are really different: The man doesn't understand why the woman is demanding so much emotional investment, while the woman can't understand why the man is so callous.
The woman can often get hurt because of this. She will see sex as a commitment and sign of her desirability... but the guy was just having sex and wasn't planning to stick around. It meant nothing to him, relationally.
So a woman has to be cautious about sex. (This is why marriage is ideal -- since the man is stating emphatically, "Yes, I am committed to you, and you can give yourself to me sexually without fearing I'm going to leave you afterwards.")
It also doesn't help that women often are very very giving of themselves to others (and thus to men); and a guy will just take advantage of it, figuring they're both adults and so the woman will only give what she wants to give -- not realizing she is unconsciously anticipating he will give likewise in return.

Yes unfortunately, but I've seen women do this also. Mostly younger guys are just looking for an orgasm, or another notch in their stick. I've been there, done that, hurt lots of girls in my younger years, and now I regret it. But history repeats itself, over and over again. Girls need to be aware of the guys' plans, and don't give into sex until way later. An old lady told me this once, and I tell this to lots of girls....."Love can wait 5 years, lust can't wait 5 minutes". If he would break up with you because you won't give him sex, then he's not worth it. A girl shouldn't have to prove her love like that. In fact, it is the guy that should respect her wishes, her thoughts, and her plans. There is nothing wrong with staying a virgin until you are married. I only wish I would have felt this way like 25 years ago. Best of luck to you.........................

Beacuse they r jerks, just like some of those women who play the field, have a relationship with 1 guy, and yet have occasional thing going on with another one to fall back on ..just in case...
To me ... All THOSE MEN and WOMEN are sick...

Because when someone uses someone else it's all about the user. It's about getting something out of someone. It has nothing to do with sexual intimacy, it's about power, domination and control and using someone else as an object.

this works both ways.... there are also women doing this to men.... but gotta admit probably more men than women doing so...
why... who knows, they havent got any self-respect and thus not giving other people some respect ???
