Seems like I dream about tornados alot, besides living in Kansas which I do...do they have a significant meaning?

Many times dreams are contributed by actual event, media, environment, in that case, that dream is really meaningless. It is merely from the mind of remembering daily activities. If not, then there must be some explanation. Your mind projects some sort of images in dream to reveal your inner personality.
In you case, tornados basically go in your mind because you live in Kansas.
I mean, Tornados can also mean confusion, hard to make decision, destruction of some sort. You have to describe more dramatically on how it happens.
Again, I would really think in you case you probably have seen too many tornados around unless you have a special dream you want to share. There is no significant meaning.

the tornado alone symbolizes extreme emotional turmoil, and that you may be in a potentially destructive situation (i.e. a relationship).
other events in the dreams can completely change the meaning

I'm no expert... but Tornadoes symbolize Chaos and disorder, a Turbluent time is coming upon you perhaps.
