Selling your work constantly to advertising agencies to be commonly used...
Paint, photography and must of the art is being used by ad. Agencies very commonly for advertising campaigns, they first pay cheap, but after you get a recognised name, you start to get really well paid and still having a lot of work...

Well, this depends. If you have a Fine Arts degree from a credible institution, you could actually get government grants for art projects. Most governments have "art and culture" grants that you could apply for and they are usually substantial. I don't think you would be qualified without a degree of some sort, but you need to look into this for your country to make sure.
Another way: Set up a very nice website to advertise your art. Show examples, put prices up for them and offer commissions on pieces in your genre. This can work, I have seen some good artists do this online and produce themselves an excellent salary (not rich, but nice).
Round 3: Go to art houses, ask if they deal with local artists and then try to sell them pieces, or even ask them to allow you to show pieces in their gallery, and if they sell, you split the money with the gallery (this will be different percentages per gallery).
Hope that helps.

you have to realize you will be doing art on the side if you want to live inside. However with the proper skills and fortune you will be able to find a job in the arts career track. you could work freelance (be your own boss but good luck if you're not a photographer) or work for someone else at a printing press, graphic design workshop, archetecture, or even better:
Become an art teacher, help keep the arts alive

You can apply artist license on line. I heard there is one. You can join art competitions, you can win prize if your painting is outstanding. You can show your artwork on line and sell them, while you are working or studying. Or you can join collaborations if there is curator looking for artist, you need a namecard for the client to contact you if they like to buy your painting after seeing your painting in the gallery.

I have a friend that works for Trader Joe's. If you ever visit the store, all of the labels, the signs, absolutely everything is hand painted by her. She makes an okay living doing it, she's really happy.
Check them out sometimes, it's a lot different the other grocery stores.

easy, become a teacher. thats what we all do, even if we didnt plan to become a teacher in the beginning. its the closest thing most of us can get to to working within a field that we love, unless you are a graphics person and are good with adobe photoshop.
