I wouldn't waste anytime with her attitude, she sounds like a crazy, paranoid person that no reasoning or facts will make a difference with. As far as the when your son is contagious, I am assuming that the rash from chicken pox has already appeared since that is how most people are diagnosed. He started being contagious 2 days before the rash appeared and will continue to be contagious until scabs appear, generally about a week.(but this varies)

Screw that. Let all the kids get it, because it can get bad enough to hospitalize you when you get older.
