No, it will not affect your existing files in the library.
Of course, I presume you'll be using the stub intaller and exitting the present version before installing the newer version.
Please remember to do that first becuase, otherwise, you can cause a clash which could corrupt your files.
A prudent thing for you to do might be to copy all the files in a back-up folder, just in case. Now, you must rememebr to do this in the other drive, so that, if anything goes wrong in the current one, the back-up, being in another drive, will not be affected.
Just a little thing. Usually, people install all their programs on the "C" Drive. This is not advisable. Keeping only your OS, like Windows there, is the most prudent thing to do. Always run all your other programs from the "D" Drive. That way, even if something goes wrong with the other program, it does not affect your OS.
Limewire, usually, instals itself over the current version without disturbing the contents of your library. So you really don't need to worry about it.
