you should incorporate exercise into your daily routine. Start with walking and then explore other possibilities. Also a low calorie diet will help. If you drink regular cola then switch to diet. Do not eat fast food. It may be hard at first, but after a while you will forget about the fact that you don't eat fast food anymore!!!
I hope this helps!

Honey, at 13 you don't need to be losing weight! You need to be learning to love who you are and worrying about getting good grades so you can get into a good university.
What you should be doing is making sure you are eating healthy, this includes eating lots of fruits and vegetables and some of the other food groups (your body needs all the food groups) and getting outside and playing. Give yourself permission to love your body, even at this awkward time. Treat your body to some wiggling and dancing and moving. You need to give yourself permission to move about in ways that feel good to your body. Stretching and exerting yourself is very important. Also encourage your friends not to be so insecure about their looks. Start dancing or playing football, or anything else together and learn to support each other in creating healthy lifestyles. If they are more interested in looks than good health, it might be time to find new friends who want to be healthy, confident, and happy with themselves.

Almost everyone wants to recommend a fad diet. The people who advocate exercise are steering you right. You can do this. Why not just walk a couple miles everyday? It doesn't cost money, only costs your fat.

The only thing i can suggest is exercising, I myself hate to excercise. I walk about 30 min a day if i can. Cut back on calories, cut back on carbs, try getting more protein in your diet

At your age....first, push yourself away from the table when your stomach is comfortable. Second, get off this computer and get some excercise. By the way, by the time you hit "14" you will look great.....its a hormone thing. Hang in there.

I dont know where you live but I was wondering if you can get into some program. Have you thought about programs like weightwatchers (www.weightwatchers.com) or ediets (www.ediets.com)?
Dont join blindly. Please do your research before u get into any program.
Please note that diet and exercise are important part of life. Its not a one time thing. Its a lifestyle change.
Good luck!
