there is no right and wrong. Thats a decision that only YOU can make. Nobody on a message board can tell you what religion is for you. If its important to you, find out which one appeals most to you. Go talk t o the clergy and see if you are comfortable.

Wow, there are going to be a million different answers on this one because everyone has a different opinion.

My opinion is that Catholicism is the correct religion to follow because it is the Christian religion founded by Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

"The Roman Catholic Church, or Catholic Church, is the largest Christian Church in the world. According to the Statistical Yearbook of the Church, the Church's worldwide recorded membership at the end of year 2004 was 1,098,366,000, a year in which the United Nations put the total world population at 6,388,500,000. As such it is the world's largest single organised body of religion. It is led by the Pope, the Bishop of Rome, currently His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

The Church defines itself as "the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter" — i.e. the Pope — "and the bishops in communion with him." It teaches that it is the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church ("four marks of the Church") founded by Jesus Christ for the salvation of all people."

You are asking a very difficult question for a public forum.

I do believe that Christianity is the way to eternal life. In my next breath, I also say that I do not believe that only Christians will find Heaven. Heaven is attained by how we live our lives, not by our religious affiliations.

As a Catholic Christian, I would hope that we Christians can some day be reunited into the Holy Catholic Church. However, I also do not intend to 'rate' Protestants.

As I said, we are not Heaven-bound due to what religious 'club' to which we belong. We get there based upon living the life Christ showed us.

When it comes to religion you have to follow your heart. There are many religions out there and not ONE is the "right" one. If you are really confused about it you should do some reading on the subject. There is no rush since religion is not a "cult" and there are no deadlines to join....

Its up to you to decide, which one to follow. All religions lead to a common destination. Its up to you to discover, which one do you feel is right. In fact you don't have to follow any religion. Just believe in God, don't harm others, don't have bad feelings for others, and you are actually following the best religion you can ever find. You don't have to pray, you don't have to go to church or any sacred place. Search for God within yourselves, means try to be as good as God was, although its impossible, but going anywhere nearer to this goal will automatically drive in the right pathway.

There is no such thing as the one right anything. You need to analyze your spiritual needs. Ask yourself questions. Do you feel the need to be saved? If the answer to this question is no then I would recommend animism. Please note the little "a" as this is not an organized religion. There are many different interpretations of it. It is often considered humans oldest or first religion.

Religion is man's search for God. Christianity is God's revelation of himself to man, so man no longer needs "religion" to find God. He needs only to believe in Jesus Christ. Denominations divide believers and Jesus wanted his believers to be united so when he refers to the "Church" it just refers to believers as a whole, not a particular religion or denomination. You don't go to heaven because of your religion, but because of your faith.

Forget religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

You don't want to follow religion by recommendation !

It's a quest, go and dig out the truth.. and your heart will tell you where the sun rises..

If love God, God will love you back and will guide you through..

Keep praying.. whatever the way, whatever the religion, as long as you talk to him..

God bless
