Awesome guys are plentiful. Your life is unique. Play it safe, especially right now. If the guy is a user and a dealer, you face a number of high risk situations. Seriously.
Want a real list?
1. He gets you to try some
2. While you are high, you have unprotected sex
3. You catch HPV, leading to cervical cancer
4. You get pregnant
5. You get a "little addicted"
6. You get busted by the cops (drugs, shoplifting, etc)
7. A deal goes down badly while you are there and you get hurt or killed
Think these things do not happen? Talk to others and read the paper. If he deals drugs, you are at risk.
Keep away, please. It is what I would tell my own daughters.

I can tell you from the standpoint of being that guy. He isn't worth your time. Don't get any ideas that maybe you could get him to change for you because he won't. I went to rehab for a girl once and had myself convinced it was for me, but then within a month after getting out I started using again and actually started using harder drugs than before. I didn't stop using until I made the decision for myself. Maybe later on he'll change, but until then keep your distance. Make your stance on the subject clear but let him know he can talk to you if he needs to. Try not to be at a party where he is in attendance because there probably will be things you don't want to be around there. Oh, and if he has a gun or any kind of weapons just stay away. You never know when he might be high...

HELL NO! alot of girls out there been through that situation and guess what when they go thru the whole thing they are the ones crying there hearts out for doing something stupid. That person might be telling the truth and loves u dearly and wants to inform u ans tell u whats right from wrong. So, take that advice because u never might no he might become abusive and might hurt u in the future and trust me u don't want to go thru the pain. MAN CAN LOOK HOT BUT BE HURTFUL AND JERKS...if u let time go u might find that sweet perosn u been looking for.

I agree, don't assume it's true just because you heard it, but if you are able to talk to him about it and he does use... most of the professional literature agrees that there is no way you could save him from addiction through your love or anything like that. So if he does use, get used to the idea of dating a drug user because you personally won't be able to change him.
I think also if it is true, it means something that he wasn't honest with you already. Always a bad sign if you are considering a real relationship.

Absolutely not!! Its common for girls to go for that stereotypical 'bad boy' ... but 99% of the time we only get hurt by them in the end.
In the case of getting involved with a potential drug dealer or user you open yourself up to a whole different world ... a world that you most likely don't belong in. You are playing with fire here. My suggestion is run fast ... before you get burned.

A chance at what? That your friend was lying...I think you would be taking a risk that having a good time with this person won't end you up in jail or worse...its not worth it...using and selling can only get you into trouble, sooner or later.

Heck no.....RUN!!!!,next thing you know he will be using and abusing you,i know we as female like the whole ''bad boy'' persona, but in the long run,it doesnt pay off, rather be happy than dead.Take it from me i have an uncle who is a drug user,he will even sell his own kids if he gets a chance, just to get high, and lets face,if he likes you,do you think he is going to tell you ''well i love to get high, want to join me?think twice babe.

Absolutely not - my sister got involved with someone like that and narrowly escaped jail time herself. DO NOT put yourself in that situation. There are plenty of great guys out there that aren't involved in illegal activity - just be patient.
