I respect many religons and i respect the fact that many people have morals and a sense of direction but, i just have a question about the heavon and hell part.

Why he create a world full of people? what was the point in that?
Why would he judge weather you go to heaven or hell? im sure if he loved us all, he would accept of unconditionally right?

Whats the difference between killing as a soidler and killing as a civilian (in God's eyes)? People always say its a sin to kill but if a soilder goes to another country and kill someone, i think its just as bad. even if its for yor country. Your polition leader told you to do it, not your god.

My last question is why would he send gay people to hell? if they are capable of loving why should they be judged so harshly?

ok thats my rant, let the bashing begin lol

Heaven is being close to God and his unconditional love and emulating this love in your thoughts and actions.

Hell is what we experience when we distance ourselves from Gods unconditional love.

The religous idea of a far off cloud called heaven where God lives seperatly from us is simple fiction as is the idea of a literal hell.

Take the time to think about what you would do with all the power in the world...then look at God and decide how he measures up in the show-off department.
I don't think He flaunts it at all, but maybe that's just me.

Why He created a world full of people. That's easy. He wanted someone to love.

As far as murder and gay goes...well, difficult, But I always try to bring it back to love. God is love. He's not rules about how love should be. The rules we're written in our hearts. Anything that's against love is against God.
Sometimes I get messed when I try to figure out these things. I've realized one thing. That the little I know from love, I learned from God. That whenever I hurt someone I feel guilty toward God. So, If God is so much more Superior in loving than I am, I know that He won't let good people go to hell.
I think we'll be surprised when we die to see just how much God does love.
every story, every heart is different. Every person with pain, God will comfort. No matter what he did. That's grace. It's not fair (as Philip Yancy said). If God was fair, we'd all be going to hell.

I believe God created WORLDS full of people for the purpose of knowledge. God is the unmoved mover there for god can only EXPERIENCE through us. God is the creator and we are the experience. Killing is wrong, anyway you put it. It is not for us to decide who live and who dies. It is unfortunate that are negative entities in this world. But they help us decipher between right and wrong. I also believe there is no such thing as hell. Heaven is a choice. You can choose to learn your lessons or you can keep screwing up and have to do it all over again until you get it right. I believe in reincarnation which helps with the next ?. I don't believe that gays are wrong and bad. They are just spirits who have been say female in many past lives and decided to be male in this life, so naturally they would be attracted to men. Spirits are Spirits after death. They have no gender, and love is love in any form.

PP1: I believe that God is all good. If God is all good, he therefore does not sin. Pride is a sin. Flaunting anything is an act of pride. Hence no, God does not flaunt His power.

PP2-4: To give this series of questions the answer they deserve would take hours to write. There is a basic core belief that needs to be understood in order to have a quality conversation regarding these issues. As far as sending gay people to hell...unless God told you that himself directly, we don't know where the souls of gay people go. Judgement belongs to the Lord alone, and we are forbidden to judge. This is truly Gospel. I wish every Christian out there would get this point: We are COMMANDED to love, and FORBIDDEN(!) to judge.

Now, what does it mean to Love? That's quite a question.

First, I do not think God needs to flaunt His power it is just so awesome it is obvious. Second, He created the world and all of it's inhabitants to love. To give love and to receive love. Which of us doesn't want to be loved? Third, He judges whether you go to Heaven or Hell because He is a just God and no parent rewards negative behavior. I don't would you? Fourth, killing in war or self defense is not murder it is understood and unfortunately sometimes necessary. Fifth, who knows for sure if "Gay people go to hell?" I am not set to make that judgment. I wouldn't want the job. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Only God can judge which sin is more or less serious. I leave God's job to Him.
Peace of Christ,
Debra

Time for twenty questions! :-) ok.
I really don't know why He created a bunch of people. maybe because He had nothing better to do, or because He wanted to develop some sort of friendship and there was no one else around.
He judges whether we go to Heaven or Hell, because we messed up, or Adam and Eve did (if they hadn't, someone else eventually would have.) by disobeying Him. This did not make Him insanely angry, it hurt Him because their disobedience proved that they did not trust Him to take care of His very own creation whom He loves.
The only reason Heaven exists is because it is the dwelling place of God and of people who believe in Him, and Hell is the absence of God's presence. When the final judgment comes, people who believe in Him and want to be with Him will be. Those who do not believe and want nothing to do with Him, will have their desire granted as well. "Wherever your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matt:6:21, this verse applies to worrying about material possessions, but it also is very telling about the human condition as well)
God does not want anyone to suffer an existence without Him, but when He created people, He gave them a free will,to choose Him or not. He did not want puppets to love Him, He wanted people to genuinely trust Him.
Murder IS a sin, and I am really not sure where I stand with the soldier/civilian thing. God is grieved when there is any violence done. But justice must be upheld as well.
Gay people have a choice whether or not they wish to live a homosexual life. Just like every person has the choice whether or not they will engage in premarital sex. or pornography or lying or..... every sin is equal to the other in God's eyes. The use of our bodies in a way that God did not intend or create them to be used is a sin (Romans 1:20-27).
I do not hate gay people, but I do pray that they would turn from this lifestyle.
However, even Christians sin, because we are not perfect, and the desire to sin still tempts us. But we are not bent toward sin anymore, our greatest desire now is to grow in our relationship with God because He has forgiven us Just as He promised He would, if we chose Him. Sin hinders that goal. So we ask forgiveness and keep going.
Every person is capable of loving, of hating, of giving and of taking selfishly. It doesn't make us worthy of Heaven, it just says we are alive. even animals can share or help each other.
The point is, God is not judging harshly, He is judging fairly, but because He loves every person equally, He has created a way out, a trap door to lead us to life instead of condemnation, it is the only way, truth and life, His son, Jesus Christ, who died physically so we could live eternally. It's just a matter of our choosing to use the trap door to escape what we justly deserve. Every one of us. We are all in this together. But some of us have already chosen the way out.
Hope this answers some of your questions to your satisfaction.

......wow nice questions by looking at ur them i can c u dun really no GOD tht well i mean not tht any1 knows him tht well 2! u need 2 read the bible anyway.. God created people because he wanted beings to be there in Heaven to spend time with Him. He totally could have just made us all good people, but after that whole incident with Lucifer and him thinking he was better than God, he wanted us to have our own thoughts, and let us choose right and wrong...besides, it is more rewarding that way.
God made a Heaven for those who made the right choice along the line, and a Hell for those who didn't. God does love us unconditionally, but sometimes you have to give a little tough love, like when he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. We have our whole lives to do that one simple thing...accept Jesus as your Lord. He gives us many chances and opportunities throughout life to do so, but some don't even want to do that, and therefore they are punished by going to Hell.
I'm debating on how to answer your question on killing as a soldier or civilian. I personally believe, as yourself, that killing is killing. But their are some who believe in the "kill or be killed" philosophy, and the soldiers are there to kill in order to protect us, which apparently is different than homocide.
Again, not trying to sound bias or anything, but God made certain rules for us to follow, and one of them was the law of marriage. Marriage is to be between one man and one woman. When God told Adam and Eve to "be fruitful and multiply on the Earth," he was addressing a male and female. It is even in the human nature for a man to be with a woman. Why do you think women have a vagina and men have a penis? It fits so perfectly. When laws are broken, punishment ensues.
That's all I have to say. Good luck on your spiritual quest!

God is Holy and pure. He has no reason to flaunt his power. That would make him proud and arrogant which He is not.
God does not send people to hell. People send themselves there because they made the choice not to believe or accept Jesus as their personal lord and savior. God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we have a choice and those who reject Him are basically saying," I don't need a savior. I'll pay for my own sins in hell for eternity."
God does not hate anyone. He hates sin because He is holy and is incapable of overlooking sin. He doesn't hate the person who is living a homosexual lifestyle but He hates their lifestyle and they are disobeying His word by choosing to live in sin. Although if they repent and accept Christ, God will forgive them.

- God created people for His own pleasure, that we may know Him and be loved by Him.
- As a soldier, you are not charged with the murder the discision and judgement falls to the earthly leaders.
- People do not go to hell solely for being gay, that is often a misconception. The pushisment of hell is only for those who do not believe in God. Having said that, a person's actions reflect their beliefs.
