Keep the dog.Show her the door.After all a dog is mans best friend.Doesn't answer back either and does what its told.

depends whose flat it is. If it is hers you have to say sorry or she might kick you out. On the other hand if its your flat you have the upper hand.
If she is a good friend as well you must sort it out. she most likely feeling crap about it too.
