No it isn't weird. The sink is cool. Also the bowl gives the kitten a sense of security. I have a full grown cat that will sometimes take a nap in the bathroom sink. Cats have very distinctive personalities as well as likes and dislikes. Having a cat is an adventure. Have fun with your kitty.

Trust me, having your cat sleep in the sink or play it, is not considered weird at all. It is cute. My cat loves going in the sink, with or without the water running. Take a look at the link I've included and you will see that a whole bunch of people have cats with sink fetishes.

Cats like enclosed spaces to sleep because it makes them feel more secure. Sinks are an uncommon choice but not weird.

kittens are known to be curious and they might sleep in the sink because it is cooler. take it from me, my cat sleeps in the bath tub and she did use to sleep in the sink. and i am a cat lover and i do go by the saying curiosity killed the cat and i think kittens are soooooo cute!!!!!!

My cats drink from the sink all the time..and I have a friend whose cat sleeps in it.So no it's not weird...it's a cat thing.

nope i have seen lots of cat sleep in the sink.....try turning the cold water on in the sink if you dont want him to sleep there anymore:)

It is'nt unusual for a cat to sleep in a sink. they also sleep in any small, warm enclosure. It reminds them of cuddling and nursing by their mother's nipples along with their brothers and sisters.

Look buddy, this is a CAT. Cats do all sorts of nutty things. Some of mine come into the shower after I come out and lick the walls even though they have abundunt water themselves.

lmao my kitten does the same thing....all cats love drinking from the sink it is fresh water! if you want to stop that i would suggest getting a water bowl that has fresh flowing water in it and a filter. my cats have the fountian linked below they love it!
