The best amount to l;lose per week and keep it off is 2-3 pounds. You can lose more with adding exercise, fasting one week a month. But you want lose and keep it off I would suspect so I would try the 2-3 pounds per week. You also may lose more because of you metabolism.

Real weight? Like losing fat? You might be able to do 2 or 3 pounds...max. Maybe. But you'd really have to work out alot...and, if you don't work out regularily I am guessing that by day 3 of intense workouts you will be too sore to work out anymore.
Also- in 4 weeks of solid focus I am guessing about 8 pounds could be lost...ie, 2 pounds a week like ohthechemistry said...

Check with your doctor, just because you can lose 15 pounds in a week doesn't mean it is good for you. Losing weight shouldn't be the goal anyway. Being healthy should be.
