If you drive non stop it will take roughly 30 days, I drove from Sydney to Sydney and it took me close to 10mts. You have to stop driving at night as all the wildlife wander out on the roads. The last thing you want to do is hit a red back roo at 12 in the night, it will completely trash your car.
Just remember it's all about the Journey not the destination!!

In Sydney you are able to enjoy the organic beauty. From unspoilt beaches to public gardens and, needless to say, the sparkling harbour, Sydney is a town worth visited and with hotelbye you could have the opportunity to do that. The Sydney Harbour Bridge or "Coathanger," while the locals contact it is one of the areas you shouldn't skip in your journey here. This place was the city's best-known landmark ahead of construction of the Opera House. Reinforced by enormous double piers at each end, it had been built-in 1932 and remains the world's biggest steel posture bridge, linking the harbour's north and south shores in one single contour climbing 134 metros above the water. Along its period run two railway lines and ten counters for street traffic, the direction of which can be varied based on traffic flow. Also, to learn about the exciting history of the bridge's structure you can look at the memorial in the south-eastern pier.
