about time something in the US gets smaller! Americans are starting to inflate like balloons and food portions are massive. If coffee is shrinking, that's a good thing.

This phenomenon is called "weight out" in the general industry. It is a way to raise the price without raising the package price sticker. It is not only coffee, it is everything - potato chips, crackers, cereral, juices, whatever is sold by the weight.
