At the creation of the Angels,Lucifer,a Superangel,was put in charge of 1/3 of the lower Angels to populate/beautify the Earth! Lucifer REBELLED and waged WAR against His own Creator! GOD changed his name from "LightBringer" (Lucifer) to "Destroyer" (Satan)...The Angels under him became demons...Thankfully, the Holy Angels OUTNUMBER the evil ones 2 to 1!!! So you have their "prince"-Satan,and his army of demons still over this Earth--for now. Their time is about up!!!

No. There are as many types as there are personality types. Demon is just an old word for god. They were one and the same once upon a time. There are spirits both light and dark. The modern usage of the word refers to those beings bearing animosity toward mankind and Life. All beings want to be in the Land of the Living. Some are forbidden this. Some choose to be here. Some have orders to be here...

Demons are angels who joined in the rebellion against God. Angels exist in nine choirs (or ranks). It is reasonable to assume that angels from the different ranks rebelled. So there could be more than just two types.
Main types? Well, Lucifer was said to be a Principality or Higher Power, but that doesn't mean that all who followed him were from that rank. The lowest ranks are 'angels' and 'archangels.'
It is a moot point, anyhow, since even the lowest fallen angel is far more powerful than Man.

that deppends what you belive i mean some ppl belive that there are no demons what so every. other ppl belive that there are many demons in the world it just deppends in what you belive.
