She may very well have a boyfriend, then again she may not. If she does not and she is telling you she does then it could be that she is not interested in you and does not want to hurt your feelings by telling you so. So you see it is easier for a woman to say she has a boyfriend then to say she doesn't like you in that way.

Probably. When women are happy in a relationship there cheerfulness and happiness carries over to all aspects of their lives and they are more confident and more comfortable with themselves, therefore, more friendly to everyone in general.

Just because she is friendly, doesn't mean she doesn't have a boyfriend. I tend to be very outgoing and friendly and I am happily married. If my big ring doesn't seem to prove it, I tell people. lol
