You can actually get a lot of this stuff at the local supermarket. All you will need to actually make is the grilled chesse.

Add a salad and you have a nice easy elegant lunch
Chicken Salad Recipe
Serve on bread or crackers.
2 cups chickens, deboned and chopped
2 tablespoons onions, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon
1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pinch red peppers
1/2-1 cup mayonnaise
Coarsely chop chicken (food processor works well for this).
Remove.
Chop onion, then add celery in processor; chop fine.
Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.
Add seasonings to taste.

It's not unique but egg salad is sooo good! And sooo easy! (Perfect for your 'not very advanced' cooking.)
That's what I'm having today. The eggs are boiling now..lol. I just add mayo salt and pepper to mine. Put it on white bread or toast and add some lettuce if you have it. Yummy!

NYC Dog
1 OSCAR MAYER Beef Frank
1 hot dog bun, partially split
1 tsp. GREY POUPON Spicy Brown Mustard
1 Tbsp. CLAUSSEN Sweet Pickle Relish
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 cup CLAUSSEN Sauerkraut, drained
Dash celery salt
HEAT frank as directed on package.
PLACE in bun. Drizzle with mustard.
TOP with remaining ingredients.

Tuna Salad Sandwiches
1 can of tuna (drained)
Mayonaise of Miracle Whip
! apple (Chopped)
mix the apples and tuna, mix in mayo until it reaches desired texture.
Serve on lettuce for a salad, or on wheat bread with lettuce and tomoato.

2 POTATOES PEELED AND SHREDDED
1 SMALL ONION MINCED
1 EGG BEATIN
1/2 TSP DILL WEED
1 TBS FLOUR COMBINE IN BOWL AND DROP DELICATLY IN A FRY PAN WITH HOT OIL
DO NOT PRESS DOWN COOK ON LOW FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE OR TILL BROWNED ON ECH SIDE
