Sex is actually a healthy thing for your body. It's very good exercise. It makes you happier (medically, because of some hormones that are released). It strengthens your immune system. If you're a woman, sex can actually act as a painkiller against cramps. AND it raises your self esteem!

Great, right? :)

In short, it depends; but most likely, yes, you could be healthier. The long answer depends on first of all what sex you are and what your lifestyle is like, as well as how you approach sex. For males, over frequent ejaculation (through sex or other means), can lead to unnecessary exhaustion, both sexually and physically. If you notice, some men will yawn or fall asleep almost immediately after orgasm. Too much of this is not healthy, according to a holistic interpretation of sexuality as a means of vital bodily energy and a unifying force for couples. Women have it slightly easier when it comes to exhaustion, but the same basic principal applies: deplete unnecessarily your sexual energy by frequent shallow orgasms, and you deplete you ability to enjoy your body. In fact, vibrators are most likely the quickest method of doing this, as they can over time cause a desensitization to sexual activity and loss of orgasm.

There are various methods to allow frequent orgasm and prolonged sexual activity however. They do take some work and a change of lifestyle, but I will say firsthand, they're well worth it. Most of them involve strengthening your connection with and integrating your sexuality into your life and overall person. For men, which I'm assuming you are, it involves first, realizing that orgasm and ejaculation are two separate things, and then practicing how to have orgasm without ejaculation. More or less this means becoming multi-orgasmic, which most women already are. Also, it involves strenghtening the penis for stronger, fuller erections, which is vital for the women's pleasure. (Note: this is NOT penile enlargement. Those "techniques" are damaging and their supposed goal unnecessary and will weaken your erection strength.) Frequent and fast ejaculation will ruin the opportunity to achieve this.

For women, the end result is focused on hightening sensitivity and sensuality, basically learning to orgasm first at all, and then how to do so on a more deeper level. There are of course three kinds of female orgasm. From most superficial to most encompasing they are 1) clitoral, 2) vaginal, and 3) cervical. A woman's task is to become accusomed to not only cheap pleasure through clitoral stimulation (like with a vibrator), but to gain the experience of a more connected and vibrant whole-body orgasm through her partner (or alone through non-vibrator toys if she prefers). There are a series of herbal supplements, massage techniques, sexual exercises, and breathing methods that accomplish this greater state of sexual health, and they're fun and worth looking into if you are serious about becoming an overall more healthy, sexual, and loving person.

Only if your are unselective of your partners.

I have been married for ten years and my hubby and I still at least have a quickie almost every day.
AND we have three kids.

Be careful with it. Don't sleep around with people you don't know.

Sex is good exercise.

But if you are trying to have a baby with your partner, too much sex can lower the sperm count.

it's great exercise and stress reliever, and we all know the benifits of those two (if you don't, you should look it up). Just be sure to get tested for STD's and make sure wear a condom. The hormones and other chemicals released during sex also promote mental health.

No.
Not unless you have sex to the exclusion to everything else like sleeping and eating...

Remember to have safe sex to avoid/prevent the spread of diseases. Know your partner well.

too much of anything is unhealthy. The tricky bit is figuring out how much is too much.
