Seriously, If I wanted to hear religious rhetoric I would go to church, not to a site designed to answer my questions.

" If you don't want to hear from Christians you need to go stick your head in a hole. Oh....wait a minute....that's where you are already, you just don't know it yet."

What does that even mean?

Some people ask spiritual questions like you are doing right now, which is why Christians like myself tell them about the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the only Son of God, sacrificed for the sins of the world. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever should believe on His name will not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Well thank you, your regurgitation of the bible has opened my eyes...But no, really, thank you for providing me with an example of this.

" Hey, the reformation started with the printing of the bible. The most important scientific achievement in the last 1000 years, according to scientists (including the theory of relativity etc.) was the Gutenberg press. That old wine press modified to hold printing plates and turned with a creaky wooden crank. Because it duplicated books, including and especially the Bible. So all science, all philosophy, sociology, physics, math and literature so all knowledge was disseminated by that old press. The bible changed and advanced the world. "

I appreciate your little history lesson on the Gutenburg Movable Printing Press and the historical importance of the bible as a tool of literacy for the masses, but what does that have to do with my question. Irrelevant.

well you have asked 3 questions, 2 have no one answering with any religious overtones. second they have a section for religion in which for some funny reason is about religious questions. so if you do not want to hear from religious people please do not go into the religious section.

If you think it's bad on here you should try living in Kansas almost everybody is on the religious right and they are all Conservatives they brainwash everybody to think the same even kids are like this there is a girl at my school she could get very annoying she would say all this religious rhetoric all the time she would even carry her bible around everywhere and if a subject she didn't agree with came up in science like the Big Bang she would start reading from her bible to the whole class oh and she wasn't alone there where 3 other girls like this. I'm Catholic and I believe in God and in Jesus The Virgin Mary ect. but I personally believe religion is something you have to choose and you can't try forcing other people to agree with the same religion you do because they might believe in other things and if you don't want to believe in a religion that sounds fine to me because everybody is different and we all believe in different things we shouldn't try to force everybody to think the same things or believe in the same things either.

Why are you in this particular catagory if you are so against it?
Turn off your computer and go to church.....it IS Sunday.
Take a look at how many other catagories there are that may interest you if aren't into sharing religious beliefs.

Yahoo Answers is like the modern day version of sending out missionaries.

It's not just them. Everyone with an agenda comes to this site, dime store wisdom in hand, ready to waste everyone's time with thinly veiled, rhetorical questions.

They should all be shot.

If you ask a "religious" question, then everyone who "thinks" they are religious will give you an opinion, and those who "hate" religion will give you another opinion, and those who just dont know, will ask more questions...

Paul was a "Religious Zealot" so, if "I" was to be considered that...then I would consider myself in "good company"...

I wish you well..
