my theory goes.. god created all on earth. so that makes him a non terrestrial entity. an alien. jesus was an alien capable of healing and levitation. the bible was written to divert the mortals eyes from the obvious truth. all life on earth was/is an alien experiment. the pyramids, nazca lines, stonehenge all overseen by alien inteligence. mans giant leaps in technology from alien technology. why dont we see them? maybe because we dont know where to look, if they have technology so advanced dont you think they could stay out of sight? the chances of humans being the most advanced life form in the universe/s is borderline offensive. do you think all religion was created as a form of population control?

Your theory is no more ridiculous than the one that says that Mary was a virgin and gave birth.

I think by population control you actual mean mind control and then my answer would be yes, but not for the same reasons as you state. Religion is mans invention, it has nothing to do with God. But have you considered the question of how the universe came to be? Scientists have now agreed the big bang doesn't work. They have also turned away from the evolution and survival of the fittest theory. so where does that leave us? The only other contender was....Creation. However, God is very clear in his word who and what he is. John 4:24 reads: God the Spirit. (This is as it appears in the Greek). God is spirit. He is not an 'alien entity', he is not some off-world being who flies around in some kind of spce ship. He is spirit. Spirit does not follow the same rules as physical matter. There is no 'special technology' necessary to God. And healing is still available to those born of God now. I myself have ministered healing to others, and I have seen others do it too. John 14:12 says that the works that Christ did we shall do also. So, if Christ was some levitating alien we would not be able to do that would we? However I can not only minister God's power of healing and deliverance, I can do all the things God says I can do. So God is not an alien, and neither is Christ. Nor am I. I am just a man and without God I am nothing. So no, the bible was not writeen to divert us from truth. It is the God of this world that does that with these outlandish theories of spacemen and ufos, etc. These are designed to divert us fromn the truth of God's word so that we can be cheated out of the power of God and the more abundant life god promised. So, would you like to understand the truth? Or just to keep your powerless theories?

If Jesus was an alien then why would he die? What did he gain from coming to earth? If God was an alien then why would he create us? There is no benefit to him. If you want to know the truth about God then look around you. The sun sets then rises again the next day. All flowers die in the winter but come again in the spring. The world is declaring the truth that Jesus died on a cross but that he defied death and came back to life. Don't look at religion or to science fiction to find God. Open your eyes and your heart to the truth. Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened.

Romans chapter 1 tell us that nature proclaims God's power. In the Bible God compares us to sheep, and an interesting characteristic of sheep is that 95% of them go with the flow. If you look at the different reigions of the earth you will see this, In arab nations, 95% of the people are islamic, Asians hindus, South America Catholic, ect. Also, 95% of all humanity believes in a higher power. Know using your kind of logic, I know that 95% of all humanity cannot be wrong and that there is some higher power, but what/who? The Bible is the only book that we have that doesn't contradict it self (KJV) and we all know that if it is man made there has to be errors. Well, the Bible was written by about 45 different people living in different time and places, but it all comes together. Why? 2 Peter 1: 19-21 tell us that these men wrote beign guided by the Holy Spirit. In other words, I say something and you write it down. That is what happened. God spoke and these men wrote what God told them to write.

You have a few of the right concepts, but you haven't taken them in all the right directions. People have beliefs because they want to believe something- because it's easier to have a belief than to admit that you don't know something. That is the real basis of religion- people having beliefs. Population control is an unintended side-effect. The population control part of religion happens when we have religious wars and lots of people die. I don't approve of it, but that's what happens. One of the major purposes of religion is to keep fathers in their households so that their children have the best chance at growing up with good advantages. This is a very human purpose.
Your question is pretty loaded with speculation. Do you really have to assume that God is an extra-terrestrial from your evidence? Isn't it just as reasonable to suppose that God is a non-physical life form- a spirit?
I really think that the idea of extra-terrestrials was invented as a way to sell popcorn. As for why the idea of God was invented, that came from a time before popcorn, so it's a different matter. I can tell you this much: if there is a real God, it isn't something that can be contained fully inside anyone's holy-book. If God is a real living being, God is bigger than all of our little ideas about God, including all our scriptures and all our speculations. Religion is actually for people who don't want to think and people who are uncomfortable with the idea that God is actually alive and all-powerful, etc. It's a pre-packaged, watered-down, anybody-can-do-it version of the ancient mysteries. There's much more to it than what you've said. Study psychology and linguistics and history and politics before you decide to blame religion on E.T.

I don't believe God is an alien, because I got baptised in the Holy Spirit when I wasn't looking for God and I hadn't a clue about the Holy Spirit anyway. This 'alien' would have had to have been watching my every move, know exactly where I was at the exact right time and somehow given me a 'supernatural' feeling of God and pure love at the exact moment I raised my hand on the beach. He would also have to possess the power to heal me of depression at that same instant, all without being near me. Oh and been able to know who I would pray for and be able to heal them at the right time. No, sorry, it doesn't ring true for me....

My friend, you have taken religion to an even more absurd level. Religion is myth maquerading as truth. Take a look at other religions, take a look at science (which contrary to what some would have you believe is NOT a religion) and make sound judgements based on your observations.

There is little evidence to support the truth of the bible. And there is even less evidence to support the idea that we are being visited by aliens.

maybe,
i definatly see what you are saying you have very very good points
i very much disagree with us being the most advanced life form... we havent even been to some of the planets in our solar system.. we havent even found all the planets yet(well they keep finding them..so yeah)we havent been to all of our universe or whatevr you call them ... galaxy... i cant think of the word... yeah okay my stupid moment... well... all i can say is i really hope we find out someday soon...
oh and the people that bother you about evolution.. ask them why monkeys and apes are still here... also theres a video about evolution and god and the big bang theory(proving gods point) and it shows a squirrel and says "there's grandpa!" the video is pretty funny
also most religions like people to have kidsoh 1 last thing- my old social studies teacher said there is 99% more proof that christianity is real than any other religion...

... interesting theorie, although I think that when the aliens were here and helped us with those large projects and if jesus was a mighty alien, I'm sure they would not live here secretly...we all would have to listen to the big alien leader on a far away planet and see alien troops walking on the earth...

I mean, if you conquer a planet and 'create' a religion and help with the development of technologie, I don't think the aliens won't take the credit for what they did for us...

just my thougths

WOW what a imagination. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion . But you dont know much about the bible or religion. This stuff would make a great science fiction book. Read the bible then state your opinions ok. We all read yours now we can state ours. That young lady who made the statement about the virgin Mary read the bible. She was a virgin she wasnt of course after he was born and she did have other children.
