im on break with my girl and it was her that wanted a break. at first she wanted to break up but then we got back together and are on a break. A few days ago she said her feelings grew for me then a few days later they seemed to die down again.i dont know what it is i keep saying to have her feelings die down. but when i always say the right stuff her comes back. i was wondering if a love poem can seal the deal

Well, you never know until you try right? So, go for it. But I do agree with the first answer: actions definitely speak louder than words. Good luck.

I believe it depends on the girl. If she likes and understands the meaning of a poem. Actions speak louder then words and if your going to write a poem your action should do the work. But if you've been on a break for sometime and it's not the first time. Maybe you should just let things be. IF you can't hold up to what the poem says or promises then you shouldn't give her a poem.

I agree, actions speak louder than words, but the right words can lead to actions that get both of you screaming!!!

However, let me add:

The tempo and verbiage of your question leads me to believe that you are young, possibly early teens. Also, the "we're on a break" and "feelings die down" leads me to the conclusion of immaturity.

At this stage of the game, a girl's hormones are so out of control, she's likely to tell you she loves you, doesn't ever want to see you again, get back together (but take it slow) and then tell you that she wants to grow old and have your children. All this between 3rd and 5th hour.

My advice: Don't worry about it. If you love her and can ACTUALLY write good poetry, then go for it. If your poetry is junk, keep it to yourself. Nothing says "hopeless loser" like bad poetry.
If you poetry is good, back it with smooth moves.

Allow me to add: If you get rejected by her but feel your work is good. Keep it and use it. The next girl you become acquainted with will melt having read the words you crafted for someone who's heart was too cold to accept them.

Cheers my friend and good luck

Sounds like she is trying to play two sides of the fence.Meaning what you say probably has nothing to do with it,she is trying to decide between you and someone else.Thats why she breaks, gets tired of him then comes back to you.If you want to win a love poem might work,or she might go on playing until she decides.Good luck God bless:O)

It depends on the mood and the situation in whick they are presented to you or your mate. It can work if you mean whats in the poems. You have to set the mood and the right timing when you do it. Be honest int he poem and if you need help in any way let me know I right poems I can send you something. Relax if its meant to be it will be.

They make you feel better expressing yourself in writing, but women aren't too impressed with them.
