Exercise (30 minutes a day), plenty of water. Try to eat healthy as much as you can. Also, at dinner time instead of grabbing a plate, use a saucer. You can never fill that one up. Do not eat anything after 7 p.m. You will also need patience. Rome was not built in 1 day. And make it a life long goal. Many people give up when they don't see results in a day, two days or a week. Just like it took a while for you to gain weight, it is going to take a while to lose it. So don't lose hope.

Well fast is a relative term, but if you like to have something permanent to work with consider Dr Shari Lieberman "Transition Lifestyle System" which incorporates both diet and mental exercises through the help of a journal and hopefully with a few friends as well. Dr Shari Lieberman is also the author of "Dare to Lose : 4 simple steps to a Better Body." Email me and i can send out a pdf file that outlines the programme

I have tried every diet gimmick pill there is. I'm sorry to say but there is no way to get skinny fast other than maybe "appearing" skinny from what you are wearing. I have come to the conclusion that in order to lose weight and keep it off is simply calories burned must be greater than calories taken in. I know there are prescription drugs that tend to work fast but you have to meet a certain criteria for you doctor to prescribe them..one of them being morbidly obese...if you are in this category then you should seek medically supervised weight loss....avoid those over the counter pills...your kidneys and liver need you.

the safest way 2 lose the weight w/o gaining it all back is 2 aim 2 lose 1-2lbs a week it may seem slow but it's the most helthy way and to lose any more u would hav 2 starve ur self or over exercise and tht is not healthy ad will eventually lead 2 a more serios health prob lem so eat right and exercise daily (cardio: 4-5 days, strength: 3-4) and you'll c results in 4 wks u cold also try allure's "6 wks 2 sexy"-- http://www.allure.com/makeover

You can't. Exercise and good eating habits will be the safest way to do it. Figure on losing 3-5 pounds a month. Good cardiac exercise will burn off the calories and a good well balanced diet with provide you with the energy you need to do this. Losing weight requires a life change not a quick fix. Good luck.

go some place like Las Vegas in the summer and walk the strip and bring only water to drink. Walk it all day for 2 or 3 days only eating at night. I lost 15 pounds in 3 days in August one year. The after that watch your caloric intake.

There is no healthy way to get "skinny" fast. If you take weight off too fast, it is highly probable, it will come back fast. The slower you lose weight, the longer you'll be able to keep it off. Also, if you lose weight too fast, you will also screw up your metabolism. Eat right and exercise and weight will come off the way it should. Quick fixes will not work. Good Luck.

If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.

Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved if you don't have the access.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices

Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)

Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.

Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. If you have access to a gym include boxing and spin classes as well. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.

To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 (women) - 1800 (men) and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) cal and 6 sessions again.

Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Walk about 2 - 4 miles a day for 4 days, eat alot of cold food; it may sound nasty but it really isn't (ex: salads, yogurt, cold deli sandwiches, rice pudding, etc.), drink plenty of water along with antioxidants like Pomogranate juice and Cranberry juice (NOT FROM CONCENTRATE, there's nothing but sugar in it).

If you do these things, you look and feel better in about 1 - 2 weeks!!!! I have done it and it is fabulous!!!

Much luck...
