Those are just a few examples of when you didn't use spell check in your answer.

So maybe we should be asking you the question.

LOL that is funny. But you have to remember that some are new users and have not figured out YA yet. Others are on work and sneak in to answer or ask a question and don't really have time to spell check. Then there are others that think they can spell and don't need to use it unless they are not sure of a word. Then there are those that just don't care. You pick your choice of who is answering or asking. It all boils down to the fact that you can MOST times understand the question or answers. But valid point none the less. If we are to argue or get angry about spell check, then pretty soon we would be doing the same about improper word sentencing or the use of capital or common letters in sentences. Grammar.

Spell check is only necessary when you are writing something that has to make a good impression (resume, etc) but in casual talk everyone understands computer talk and who really cares how it is spelled.

You do not have the right to send mail over the Internet in any form or fashion if you do not do a spell check before you hit send. Why do you think it is on every program you have on your computer?

The need for a spell check varies by number of books read in a lifetime.

0-100 : Doesn't use it, and doesn't understand the need.

101-300 : Uses it, needs it, and understands the need.

301-500 : Uses it, and doesn't need it.

500+ : Doesn't use it and doesn't need it.

Most don't bother with spell check because they're using too much slang and abbreviations and spell check doesn't do them any good.

Are you kidding? If people are too lazy to type out "people" and instead opt for "ppl", what makes you think that they will make the effort to click that button?
