Where is there proof of the Ark of the Covenant, I would love to see it. Not that it would change my beliefs, I already believe.

It's a mistake to stake your belief in a god on claims to have found the ark of the covenant. The existence of the ark of the covenant proves the existence of a god to exactly the same extent that the existence of a Star Wars toy light saber proves the existence of Darth Vader.
On top of that, though, the purported discovery of the ark is almost certainly a hoax. What are you going to do with your faith when you realize that? Your choice is
- to admit your error about the ark, but shift your faith's foundation,
- to admit your error about the ark, and abandon your faith,
- to deny your error about the ark.
Either of the first two choices would be a honest response, but frankly, responses of the third kind (that is, the dishonest ones) seem a lot more common.

No. And I don't even have to use atheist sources for this. The claims of Ron Wyatt have been examined as far as he and his people have allowed them to be by pro-creation organizations, and they've come up substance-less. Your blog on the Ark of the Covenant needs fixing based on this information from a creationist website. By the way, Wyatt died in 1999. If you are just now hearing about this remarkable discovery, it should ring alarm bells in your head that it wasn't taken seriously while he was still alive.

The existence of a physical box, created by people, has nothign to do with the existence of God. And as such, I don't need to read the article. They may have found it, or may not have, but that has no bearing here.
I can most definitely prove that God does not exist. At least not in any way, shape, or form as the Christians paint him. But that takes a long time, and it's not my job. But I would suggest that you do a little research yourself. Here's a link that contains only the tip of the iceberg...

Not hard to believe that God does not exist. Who would have made him? End of argument. Even if they found an ark, that would not prove that God existed, only that the ark existed. When you find the remains of God, we will talk some more.

Of course there is proof that god exists - the proof is in your mind. It's the same place where there is proof that the tooth fairy exists too. That's the wonderful thing about minds - they don't have to worry about being anchored in or compatible with reality.
You are certainly correct in that you can't get to god through reason since reason deals with the world the way it actually is rather than wish fulfillment fantasy.

Not this again,
Proof of my existence is not proof of God's existence. The bible was written by men as were all the other books. If I tell you that I am the son of God and you believe me and write a book, does that also mean that God exists. I would say not. Unless God himself comes here and defies the laws of nature than I and a couple of million other people will not believe in him . I would rather believe that everything is just here than believe that a God that was just here created everything out of nothing. It is far easie to not believe than to not believe.

Actually, reason is a gift from God. Though you cannot prove the existance (or non-existance) of God by reason, you can make very convincing arguments. See the book: "When skeptics ask." This has some great arguments that are extremely reasonable.

Each morning when I wake up is enough proof for me. There are days and nights that I am so tired that all I want to do is sleep forever, but each day I awake. I believe in myself but I did not die, therefor I believe that God is keeping me here to awake another day.
