Skeptical scrutiny is the means,in both science and religion, by which deep insights can be winnowed from deep non-sense.
Carl Sagan
If you are patient in one moment of anger you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.

if you live by sword, you should die by the sword...it's the saying but it doesn't mean that all christians will be impaled just b'coz of the cross with jesus impaled on it....it's a different matter...christianity is a religion where else the people live by the sword are those using sword as their daily life work or lifestyle...(ie :- old days swordmen, robbers etc )...

I know you are an Atheist/Agnostic and I agree with the Atheistic/Agnostic way of thinking for the most part. Why do you ALWAYS insult the belief system of the Christians and other religions directly? You'd be better off just asking the first question without the second. Why antagonize them...they don't really want to address the fact that their belief system(s) is/are fundamentally flawed anyway so why bother with the insults? Is it possible for you to go beyond your own belief system and have at least some RESPECT?
NO IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT CHRISTIANS WILL BE IMPALED...PEACE...FYI I AM DEFINATELY NOT A CHRISTIAN...I AM A UU AND PROUD OF IT...CHECK US OUT AT WWW.UUA.ORG! PEACE!

This doesn't mean all Christians will be impaled. What it does mean is that you will be subject to the same things to which you subject others. Christians, like most of those belonging to the world's major religions, can not be lumped en masse into one category. We all act and live as individuals.

You very well could, which is exactly why people always tell you to not run with swords.
Also, by your logic, only those Christians prone to impaling would be, themselves, impaled.

Yes, all violent people should impale each other and leave the rest of the people on earth (all 15 of them) to live in peace.

It is possible to be ethical in the world.
If the only way you can survive is to destroy others, you should remember that if you live by the sword you die by the sword.
Success should be measured by the creation of a world you want to live in.

Most Christian don't live by the sword. As a swordfighter and christian I suppose I do..but you don't learn to use a weapon and not expect it to raised against you some day.
Curious question: If you live by Hate, should you recieve it in return?
