Ashley, you have asked a very good question! And I like these types of questions, because it forces me to really think about my answer.

I have faith in Jesus Christ because I need Him. I call myself Searcher because I search for answers and guidance. While it might be easier if Jesus were someone I could see, by having faith it teaches me to learn and to question and to grow. I have to search for answers that way.

God supplies us with so much, but asks for one thing in return: faith. Faith is the belief without seeing it for real. While some people may think that makes me deluded, God showed me something very powerful when my faith was shaken to the point that I didn't think that God existed.

He asked me to have faith that he existed without proof. I took a hard leap and decided that I would have faith in Christ Jesus and just believe in him, without having concrete "I can see it for myself" proof. What happened as a result was amazing.

I started to have answers to questions. I found that by trusting in Christ, I had someone to rely on when things get bad.

And you know what is amazing, I get answers to prayer. Not just 0.01% of the time and not just "well that's God's will and it's not happening" answers, but resolutions to a lot of problems. Like seeing difficult people change. Answers to issues like how to deal with a difficult issue. Answers to problems like financial difficulties (it's amazing just how often some unexpected blessings come through). Answers to many many other issues. Also, solutions to many difficult issues that just cannot be coincidental.

And all because I took that first leap, without hard proof.

To me, that's why I have faith in Jesus Christ. He is my mediator, intercessor, friend, comforter, and savior.

Who has asked to have faith in Jesus Christ ? If you dont want you dont keep. .But if you sit for a while by closing your eyes you can see you in yourself and that you is none other than the Creator and He is the supreme power. And He will be called by different names in differentReligions.

Having faith in a dead person no one has ever seen sounds daft to me. I certainly believe Jesus was who he said he was, but he's gone now and we should seek a living son or daughter of God who is able to explain the spiritual path first hand - be thorough in your search however, cause the world is full of phonies trying to make a buck outa your sincere ignorance.

Christ is humanity representative to God the Father. God will not accept anyone if not through Christ. Christ is the only human to exist who did not sin. Sin is opposite God but we can return to God if we wash ourselves in the name of Jesus Christ.

Can you think of anyone else that would go through what He did simply to save us from eternal damnation?
He is The only son of God. He died for our sins. I can't think of a better reason than that.
