Which method would be kinder to the body? To drink a 1 pint bottle of whisk neat followed by a 1 pint bottle of water or to mix the water with the whisky initially and consume the 2 pints of liquid that way?

It doesn't matter in the end.
You are still getting the same amount of alcohol either way. It's like saying would you like $100 bill or five $20 bills. Provided that you drank it in the same amount of time, the impact on your body will be the same.
Adding water or cutting the whiskey with anything will generally slow down your intake of it, as you are drinking the same amount of alcohol over twice the time...so I could see that being slightly better for you, maybe.

Youve forgot to mention the third method - drink a pint before (about 20 mins before) ;)
Whisky is best neat.

Ha!!! funny question but indeed a clever one. I prefer mine neat but you can have it with water... Hence the water is healthier for the body than whiskey...

who cares whether its kinder to the body. I'm scottish and I think its terrible to mix it with anything. Straight on the rocks. No arguments.

Drinking neat is very injurious to health so its always advisable to have it vid water or a coke.
