A Kitchenaid would be a very extravagant gift! As long as you're considering a pricey gift though, a 14-cup Cuisinart food processor would be wonderful. You can knead bread & dough with it too ..... Or a pastry bag with selection of tips ... Cake stand that swivels (easier to decorate cakes). .... Go to Food Network and look up the tv show "Ace of Cakes,". She's probably a fan of Duff's, and he'll send an autographed photo. There's also a store link to buy Ace of Cakes shirts, hats & aprons........

A monogrammed chef's jacket. I believe williamssonoma.com carries them and will monogram them for you for less than $100. The resort will supply all the cook's tools she needs but she'd be able to wear her jacket every day remember you by it.

A gift certificate to a shop she frequents. Only she will know what she has already or what she needs.
She will apprectiate the thought more than a gift that needs to be returned and exchanged.

A good thermometer/timer is always welcome. Find out what brand of chef's knives she uses and get a matching dough cutter/scraper knife. Even a nice cookbook of professional dough recipes would be nice.
