I am allergic to cat...and have one who is about to give birth...what can i do to ease my allergies???

i have to keep the cats in my room...or my roommates dogs attack her and im sure they'll get the kittens

it's not really the cats your allergic too, it's probably thier dander(dandruff).just keep your room clean and get a clean air machine, it will pull the allergians out of the air and keep you from exibiting the symptoms so much.

I am allergic to both cats and dogs and I have two cats and two dogs. You can ask your doctor to get you an every day allergy medicine, I have 2 of those. Also depending on how bad your allergies are you may need to start taking allergy shots. I take 1 allergy shot once a week. Use to take 1 shot 3 times a week. Just really depends on how bad of allergies you have. Usually a daily medicine will help. My allergies are beyond terrible I am allergic to cats, dogs, grass, trees, ect....
I would look at getting something for a daily use to help with your allergies.

There is a lotion you can buy at the pet stores that you rub into the fur and it helps with dander control. It is recommended for people with allergies to pet dander. Keeping the pet bathed and brushed, vaccuming and dusting, not letting the pet sleep in or on your bed or bedding helps. I take antihistamines daily so I am not bothered by my cats. Also indoor pets are better on allergies as they don't track inside the allergenes from outside such as pollen, weeds etc.

My mom has the same problem. Keep your house vacuumed and the cats out of your bedroom. That way you have a place to go if your allergies get especially bad.

i have two cats, and am allergic to them. you can use an air purifier, and vacuum a lot. and take a good allergy medicine.

What do you mean...Your cat will be fine by herself just fix her a nice cozy place in a bathroom or bedroom...
