I've always noticed blonde's do rather well especially in the promotion part if they are skinny and have big... just kidding! That is just a stereotype! I was born blonde and with more common sense than my brunette sister has in her right pinkie (I wish I were kidding!) I use to joke saying that god gave her artificial intelligence. She never got it LOL!

Your working ability shouldn't have anything to do with your hair color. I am a blonde mself, and I can guarantee you that there is no way you are too stupid to get a job!! I had a state job for 25 years as a printer, photo developer, training the mentally retarded, designing all brochures, booklets, and forms for the place that I worked. It was hardly a job for anyone that was stupid. I have retired form the state after 25 years, and now work part-time at an off-track betting parlor, taking bets from customers and dealing with lots of money.

Don't let your boyfriend convince you of this. Go out...find a job...and prove him completely wrong. There is absolutely no difference in what color hair you have when people are hiring.

I believe he was just making a joke at your expense and stating that since it is said that blondes are not the brightest bulbs in the box, you (if you're blonde) have a built in excuse. Just a bad stereotype.

There used to be a saying that Blondes have more fun (than other haircolors), because of the sexiness of blondes. So, if that stereotype is true, you're bound to get a job if you wow them with your womanly wiles.

You being blonde has nothing to do with whether you can get a job or not. It's just a stereotype to say someone is a "dumb blonde." I know many girls who are brunettes and are not very bright. I don't know where this stereotype started from but bottom line, don't listen to your boyfriend. Your hair colour has nothing to do with how intelligent you are.
