Spiritual. I think being religious limits you- it doesn't really work to be Catholic, Baptist, Pagan, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu all at once. I differentiate spirituality from religion in that religion asks you to choose. Someone wants you to say "I am (fill in religion)! This is who I am and I will never change it!" Spirituality leaves you open to the possibility of other spiritual possibilities and it also lets you explore your own truths. I am not a religious person and I don't want to be. I've been to church many times but it never felt right. It felt...impersonal. I feel much closer to my God when I'm alone, eyes closed, and just talking. I feel that I am very close with my God and I don't think I would have gotten this far and this close to God being in a church. But then, it's just my opinion. I won't tell someone what to do when it comes to religion, spirituality, or whatever. I just give my two cents if they ask for it.

I would rather be spiritual, because it's an individual sense of closeness to God.

Religious is in according to whatever "religion" you're involved in. Their beliefs, their rituals, their prayers, their ways.

I have visited many churches, and many have the same thoughts and theories. I ended up going to a nondenominational church, where I feel more at home, but it too can become "religious".

Being spiritual lets me express myself to God in the very way that I am. Nothing fake, nothing added, nothing taken away. Just me.

Religion is divisive. Spiritual? Define. I believe that as a Christian that everyone is responsible for reading God's Word for themselves. It's difficult to bee obedient with a sinful nature, but that's was personal diligence and God's Love come in to play.
1st - Read God's Word
2nd - Understand (seek counsel if you don't)
3rd - Obey God's Word
4th - Pray

Spiritual, Because a lot of religious people will not make it to
heaven.
People confuse spiritual life with Christ and being a relgious nut job!
Religion is damning itself with watered down truth to fit what they want it to fit.
In other words religion is dangerous!
Without Christ's involvement in any relgion, that religion is dooomed!!!!!!!!

If I had to choose it would be Spiritual. I don't believe Religion was ever in God's plan. Look at everything that has happened in the name of religion. It has done nothing, but divide us. Spirituality has to do with our relationship with God, who we commune with Him so I choose to be spiritual.

spiritual...I grew up in a religious family, and I don't care for organized religion...i've found that most religions think their beliefs are the only true ones...now I believe that everyone is entitled to their own, but that no one has a right to judge what anyone else believes.

properly placed. i've got had stories with holier-than-thou religious human beings too, no longer purely in Christianity yet in Wicca as properly. it fairly is like human beings go with to think of that their faith provides them each and all of the solutions. So it does look like a front or a crutch (in some circumstances, no longer all religious all of us is jerks), or an excuse to sense greater perfect. So I do evaluate myself to be religious because of the fact i've got created my own relationship with besides the fact that greater capability there is. i could on no account rigidity it on yet somebody else, we are all on our own paths.

A Spirit fill Christian. Anyone can be religious about anything. The Pharisees were religious, but they were lost.

Religion is man-made, spiritualism is self-made, ergo I'll take spiritualism.
