Judging from your remark that you only want answers from people who agree with you I'd say that you get yelled at because you don't listen.

For starters, how old are you and what do they yell at you about? That would help out a lot in answering this question, if we have something to go by. If you would give some details about this..............you would get better answers. maybe not what you want to hear but just the same, might be able to help you out here a little.......

I'm a parent. Mostly parents yell out of frustration.
Yelling really isn't the answer however we all make mistakes. Perhaps you could sit down with your parents and tell them how the yelling makes you feel.
Wishing you the best :):)

1. Everyone is younger than their parents.
2. Because if they don't yell you don't hear them because you're listening to your iPod.
3. Try behaving well and meeting their expectations of you. Do what they tell you to do the first time and I bet that most of all of the yelling goes away. It may take a couple of weeks to change their behavior.
4. Sit down with them (no TV or music) and calmly discuss with them what they expect of you.

Probably because you don't follow their rules, you fight back with them, stress them out, and do not fully appreciate what they're trying to do for you.
When you have your own kids, you will understand then.
