Maybe I missed something.
Let's keep it simple.
Did I miss one of the ten commandments?
The one that say's "Those that duth not believe in me shall burn in hell and smell like roses?"
I know a good number of people I'm sure you would consider atheists, who are fine, loving, charitable, responsible and moral.
All of whom, obviously you would destined to the eternal fires of hell.
Now, me, I'd like to think if there is just and forgiving God he would welcome them into heaven, rewarding them for their goodness, and morally lived lives..
And having done so without the fear of reprisal from a vengeful God.
Hypocrite's, in the name of God, spewing hatered and pointed fingers attempting to segregate, and belittle,( would they have a homosexual's lifestyle, atheist's, followers of all other religions, punishable by Crucifixion? Or condemned to the fires of hell?) do they expect a clear and definite path to heaven?
You have to wonder.
And here I was under the impression God's inspired teachings are most simply put, to love and honor one another?
I don't remember ever having heard we were to determine
who get's God's love and who doesn't.
In fact quite the opposite the first commandment clearly states that God and God only determines who, what and where, and how, no one else.
I also understand that the smell from all the crap passed by hyporcrites who are allowed entry to heaven by a forgiving God is now causing heaven to smell like hell.

Heh, not likely! Why ought to the omnipotent author of all issues throw products of Himself right into a hearth pit? Godly concepts are not constrained to Christians. "Hell" is only a boogeyman devised by employing those who favor to administration others and its an exceedingly merciless one. the authentic "Hell" became purely a garbage pit of varieties outside Jerusalem, referred to as Shayol, the position trash and the unclaimed useless were burned as a sanitation degree. once you recognize the authentic heritage behind the "holy" books and something of the unique languages in which they were written, they change right into a lot less dramatic and extra sparkling at the same time. If there's a "God" and an afterlife as offered, the worst that can ensue is purely that you're taken out of existence because you chosen to make your self too complicated finally once you knew extra perfect and are for this reason no longer redeemable. Your blunders at the instantaneous are not held antagonistic to you as a lot as your tries to do the right issues and face up to the undesirable to the finest of your potential are loved. God knows once you're attempting in strong faith, regardless of the face He confirmed you due on your upbringing or area. do not tie your self right into a knot over it. provide Him credit for being logical, because as loopy as issues sometime look, the Universe operates on a logical foundation. If he's logical, then he's likewise balanced and stability consists of fairness. trust that ordinary truth and do not allow absolutely everyone or something scare you the position faith is in contact. Doubt is part of religion, yet threats, dire prophecies and sword-damn at the instantaneous are not. many of the perfect "Christians" I easily have commonly used were Jews, Muslims and Buddhists. That effective little nugget of more suitable, extra perfect issues on your heart and thoughts is what concerns. something else is purely opinion, false impression and window dressing. you could bow with recognize and nevertheless look God contained in the interest. he's fairly information that way;).

Yes, they go to hell. As for the smell, I don't know. But I'll be sure to ask God when I get to heaven.

Obviously, if one is an athiest, than there is no such thing as heaven, hell, or god, so from that premise, no. An atheists soul can not burn in hell, and "God" can not smell the soul as neither God nor his nose exists.........................

The Bible does mention the aroma of burnt sacrifices as being pleasing to the Lord. I'm not sure about the future context though. What do you think personally?

if you believe there is real fire after death, then yes, yes...non believers will burn in hell.
but not every one believes in that.
i do not believe in such things. Those are stories made by men of old.
I read and read and am still reading and then form my own conclusion.
I have concluded that
Hell is simply the absence of something we want the most...
or the presence of that which will torment us for eternity. You were given choices and will be jugded accordingly by God, not by what men thought God is.

No! God tries to save everyone in their life. Most people keep on regecting Him and I'm sure it's sad for Him when one of his creations does that but God is an unwavering god and he has set down rules and when they are broken. . .he can't change the consucwences.
I appuliges for my horible spelling.

An atheist wouldn't worry about that, because an atheist believes there is no hell. And if there is, why is everyone so sure that there's fire there?
