whenever i use the machine, it vibrates the floor and i'm afraid i'm disturbing the people below me.

the machine was really expensive so i don't want it to go to waste, and also i really want to start getting in shape before i go back to school but i don't know what to do to use it without bothering other tenants...

help!

try placing some foam underneath or something that will absorb the vibrations.

Try using this matting underneath the elliptical. It should absorb a lot of the vibrations and noise. http://www.greatmats.com/

Try a very thick rubber mat under it or just meet your neighbors below and ask if it's annoying or if they even can hear it. You may get a "What noise?" answer or meet some new possible friends/aquaintences.... Give it a shot!
