It does smell. There are warnings not to use it indoors. I've searched the web and no where is an federal, medical site that says it is dangerous to use indoors, on ur skin or on a dog.

Why shouldn't you use it indoors??? There are candles that contain this product.
What works even better than Citronella is a product called DEET.
Smells like burned wood, but it works...

You know it is a plant? I have no idea why you should not use that indoors, I do.....or are we talking about something else?

The oils would end up on everything! Walls,furniture,appliances,AND in your lungs! :-)=
