she blows me away - she has slept every night from the day she was born. Neither of my kids were like that. I get her at least every other weekend which is awesome. She sleeps until 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. (and not going to bed too late or anything). She can fall asleep at 10:00 p.m. and still sleep that long - waking up extremely happy too. Have your kids ever done that? MINE SURE DIDNT!!!!

That's your reward for not killing your own kids when they were younger.

Well apparently her parents are definitely doing something right. You have every right to be proud!
Now, my little boy, age 4, will sleep a solid 12 hours a night if you let him. It can sometimes be a little trouble getting him in bed, but when he goes, he's gone! And my little girl, 10 months, will sleep 10 hours a night, but she doesn't sleep as good as Alex does. But Gabriella has been better about staying on a sleeping schedule than Alex was! She'll nod of at around 11:00 and not get up until 9:00.

My kids took "power naps" that last about 20 minutes (3 times a day) Neither of them slept thru the night until after age 1. I nursed both and got up at least one time a night for almost 2 years. My nephew is 10 months old and sleeps like your granddaughter does. I guess every child is different. You just happen to be a lucky grandma!

No way! My son was one to go to sleep very late, wake up every 1 and 1/2 hours until six months, then slept from nine until 5 am, and at six and a half years old still goes to bed at eight and sleeps no later than 6-6:30! Your family is very fortunate!!!

All three of my children slept 6 to 8 hours a night almost right away. It does happen! And by 7 months it isn't unusual at all for them to sleep through the night.

Congrats!

I was lucky with my two, from the time that they were 4 months old they would go to sleep at around 10pm or so and sleep until 10am or so the next day, unless I woke them up to take them somewhere and I didn't do that to often as they would get cranky from being tired. I talked to the doctor about them and said they were fine. As time went on as they got older they started sleeping less. Doctor told me to just enjoy the peace and quite, so I did just that.

My oldest did this and It was wonderful. A solid nights sleep. She spend a few weeks in the hospital when she was 6 months old (nothing related to the sleep) and they kept wanting me to wake her up at midnight to feed her. They could not understand that she did not need a feeding, that she had troubles if she was woke up. Finally into the second week they caught on.

You have been truly blessed! Mine, nor any other kid I have babysat or know ever has. Seems like they are up at the crack of dawn and ready to roll, even if they have gotten to bed later (which means they are whiny and cranky all day)

My son slept through the night like that. Some babies are good about sleeping. It is just luck. :-) Enjoy it while it lasts!
