Can I get paid to do custom art pieces for people.?

I can take people photos and what people like and what they want
combind it all and make custom art peices. Where do i go . Do i have to set up my own websight or what.

The key to the failure or success of a business is advertising. I'm assuming you don't have a lot of money for advertising as it seems like a small business or one that's not really started.

The cheapest form of advertising is word of mouth. Tell some friends, have them tell friends, tell family members, etc. That is also one of the most efficient forms of advertising also.

Another great way is to design and print your own flyers. Print in black and white as it's the cheapest ink toner to replace. To help further cut down on costs print 2 flyers to a page (8" x 5.25").

Call local papers. A lot of them, will allow the placement of free classifieds in special prints or weekend papers.

You can get some pretty cheap business cards printed at your local printer also. A place around here will give me about 500 of them for $45. Use these as a tool to promote your business more than just a business card.

TV and Radio are quite pricey as you have to run your ad repeatedly for people to even hear your name. It's said that a person has to hear your name 7 times before they remember it.

The yellow pages in a phone book are quite pricey, especially if you want an ad with your name. However, it's a good way to go if you have the money.

Yes - art is selective and there is a vast audience out there. I have a friend that sells something similar right on eBay. My cousin sells through a website and at shows. Depends on the audience and the quality of the work I guess.

try putting ads in the newspaper (thats way cheaper than setting up a webpage just yet) and if ur art work is good, in demand then u should have no problem doing what u want to do.

I think you could get paid for that just take good pictures and show people them as samples.

Sure you can, just advertise yourself in the papers and magazines, or the www.
Just depends on the money you put in, is your revenue.
