Scilly Isles - Any Recommendations?

Question

I want to go to the Scilly Isles for a short break. Has anyone been and if so where? Are there any travel companies that specialise in the Isles as I'm too lazy to search the internet! Ta.

I went to the Scilly Isles a couple of years ago, it was amazing. The bast place to stay is Saint Mary's as this is the main island and everything goes through there. To visit the other Islands, there are ferries that go every morning and tour boats that can show you all the main islands in a day or take you out to the Bishop's Rock lighthouse. The best thing to do is book your accommodation and travel separately. The helicopter from Penzance is a great way to get over there and can be booked on-line. Accommodation is available on-line also, I stayed self catering, but there are B&B and Hotels available. Enjoy.

Have you looked at what there is to do there?
If you're after peace & quiet, bird watching etc then you'll love it.
All I've ever seen is day trips from Cornwall by boat or helicopter, mainly because it doesn't have a nightlife in particular & is more for those who want to relax with a good book or birdwatch

ive never been but it really is a nice place palm trees, nice weather, not much car pollution, its smells fresh, not much cars, qiuet, nice beaches and nice hotels with swimming pools also cheap too and see dolphins and seal lions. try typing in the scilly irelands on google or something

I live in cornwall and have been on a day trip three times. The main island is beautiful, but i haven't been lucky enough to visit the other islands. It is very peaceful, romantic and the scenenry is wonderful.

Really nice place to go but DON'T go by ferry the day i went the sea was a little bit rough and everyone was sick, definitely go by helicopter.
