My family thinks this is gross, but I can't stop. My life has been deeply effected by Mr. Austin Powers' movies. I say, like Fat Bastard, in his scottish brogue: "Ewee, I've got a crap on deck that could choke a donkey!" I guess that is vulgar, but I think scottish dialect makes up for it.

If you are looking for a polite answer I would simply say "Excuse me I need to use the restroom". I had an aunt who used to say she had to water her petunia, funny one huh!

I worked in an office where the women went "to comb my hair" and the guys went to "the library."
Everyone knew where they were actually going, but it was never heard as an impolite term by people over the phone.

I say I have to go to the "loo", which is what they call it is Australia.

I think these are sort of crude, but my ex-boyfriend disagreed, when he would say thing like "I have to go drain the lizzard" or "the one eyed snake trouser needs to make a visit to the watering hole".
