Why are we swearing allegiance to a foreign Royal?
Kick her and the English monarchy out of Australia.

Well a lot of people in Australia want to stay monarchy but a small amount dont, well its up to the queen if Australia becomes a republic or not or if Australia start asking to be a republic she might say yes

Austrailia is already a Republic.
Although acknowledging British Monarchy, Australia has followed the rules of a Republic for many years.

Australians are regularly asked to vote on this question and they have so far voted for the retention of the monarchy. This may well change but Australia is a mature democracy and the people will decide.

Moderator G is correct, Australia is a Federal Republic in all but name. Dont get so pent up about it, the Queen doesnt do anything. Its purely historic *shrugs*

I think it should remain a Constitutional Monarchy, but I'm British, so I may be biased...

The queen has already stated that she'll cut you out the monarchy if you so wish.

But don't expect to be able to have the british flag in the corner of the australian flag afterwards.

I think they should be a republic but all Australians who think they should kick us out should be hung, drawn and quartered before this happens.
