well the best product on the market for dandruff would be head n shoulders.. it works great! also ask a local pharmacist for over the counter shampoos that work good.. a dry scalp creates dandruff, and head n shoulders helps a dry scalp also..
garnier fructise has many products good for thin hair!! just look around at ulta/target/walgreens/cvs/etc. for thickening shampoos and conditioners.. garnier fructise will help, and soo will herbal essences.. herbal essences just came out with a new line of shampoos and conditioners, and they have one for damaged hair and it works great.. make sure you condition your hair!
i hope i help. GOOD LUCK! e-mail me anytime

This may be genetic (especially thin hair), but today we do have some relief.
1See a dermatologist if you already have not seen one.
Causes: Dandruff is a dry skin condition. However fungus is a wet skin condition, on visual inspection both look alike. That is why you must see a doctor and request a test to determine if it is dandruff or fungus (some doctors can take a scraping and place it under the microscope and tell you in a minute or send it out to a laboratory and give you the results in few days).
2You might be over washing your hair or under washing.
Tip: Use anti-dandruff/anti-fungus shampoo, (buy smallest size if that bran does not work try another, hope one of the bran will work doctor may prescribe one also).
Also use suitable conditioner after washing.
Some shampoos do come with conditioner.
Technique: Generally follow the instructions on the label or supplied by a doctor if it is a prescribe product.
Stick with what works until immunity builds up, you may be force to investigate different product, and this may be never ending battle.
All of the above applies to Hair Spray and any other hair/scalp care products also.
If and when you find something that works get reed of or clean everything completely that may come in contact with your head. It may be a good idea to do this first and embark on life style change.
Good luck, hope some thing will work. Try-try till you get reed of it.

You need to use something like head and shoulders. It conditions your hair to get rid of the dandruff and moisturises your scalp to stop it from being so dry and preventing more dandruff coming back. Head and Shoulders is a really good Anti dandruff shampoo. You should also use a volumising conditioner after the anti-dandruff shampoo. There are many on the market, I recommend Sunsilk. Their volumising shampoo is very good and gives more volume to thin hair.
