well i have long dark brown hair also.. and i got my hair highlighted a light brown/goldish.. it looks great, and everyone compliments me on my hair.. i would do it all around the head, like mine, or else it looks tacky.. make sure your getting highlights done at a good hair salon, and don't go swimming right away as the chlorine messes up the highlights..

well GOOD LUCK!

Caramel colored, or highlights in the light brown/dark blonde category go great with dark brown hair. Very blonde highlights make a strange contrast with dark hair and make it look like straw, in my opinion. Try just a few to see if you really like it, and it will look natural

in my opinion, i do not fairly like the look of darkish alluring hair with mild highlights. i imagine you would possibly want to both bypass for an Auburn or a brownish pink color, or bypass for a medium brown that isn't too appreciably distinct out of your color now. you've very alluring hair as is, so make efficient now to not spoil it too a lot even as coloring it, or mess with the color to the point the position it seems undesirable. strong success!

A caramel, golden brown, or reddish color would be best. Anything too light would make you look like a skunk, or be very obviously streaky. If it's your first time coloring, I would recommend doing just your crown area, which should also be easy on your wallet.

CARAMEL WOULD LOOK NICE . THAT'S NOT TOO BLOND OR TO RED .IT'S SHOWS OFF THE NATURAL HUES IN YOUR BROWN HAIR .
