Nooooooooooo!!!
I do not have a pair of pears if I have 2 pears (It seemed correct at 1st). I cannot say a pair of pens or a pair of table. When a pair is being used, it refers to something that has 2 go with d other. E.g A pair of jeans, a pair of socks.
Good luck with ur pair of pears.

If 2 of your peers have 2 pears, do you have a pair of peers with a pair of pears?
