Most gospels were writen in 30-150 BC, while the Gospel of Thomas was written in 200 BC and speaks about the life of young Jesus. But his early years were known by nobody in 200 years, doesn't it seem suspicious to you that after so much time, that information just came up frm nowhere?

I read the Gospel of Thomas. It was so poorly written, it is obvious to me why it was never accepted as a part of the Bible. It is full of illogical statements and contradictions with itself and the rest of the Bible.

Yes, there are many books that were never accepted as a part of the Bible. Robinson Crusoe is one, and there is just as much reason that it should be part of the Bible as "the Gospel of Thomas."

The Bible was accepted and circulated in its current form within 100 years of its completion. Many counterfiet books have been passed around through the centuries as "removed from the Bible." They weren't removed- there were never there to begin with.

I loved the gospel of Thomas their are several versus in there that spoke right to my heart. I read it like three times in three days.

Did you know that it is quite probable that the Gospel of John was written to dispute the Gospel of Tomas and that it was written early in the first century also.

In the 4th century, Cyril of Jerusalem mentioned a "Gospel of Thomas" in his Cathechesis V: "...the gospel according to Thomas, ... it is the work, not of one of the twelve apostles, but of one of Mani's three wicked disciples

You forgot that this work is not recognized as a bible book. It must be purchased separately and understood as NON biblical.
Didn't you find it in the fiction section?
You even admitted to it's "incredibility" !!!

I've read parts of it. But, I've also heard that it was a hoax document created many many years after biblical times. Probably better to research it yourself to find out. I just read it out of general interest in various religions, not in it being a true text.
