I am a BLT fan, have been for years, and I mean proper hot freshly cooked Bacon, not the cold little shitty bits, however I recently discovered that fresh onions work really well with it, so now I am on a mission to educate all Cafe staff about the BLOT.

Fried egg on good white bread (that is not pappy but with some guts to it) with a proper crust plus butter and salt and pepper - oh and the yolk must be runny but absolutely NOT the white. Has to be eaten from a plate to catch the egg yolk and seasoning and then you can mop it up with the crust...I may just have to go and make one.

i'm an Eagle Scout and have been camping out my entire existence, and that i will certainly say between the main suitable food me and my pals ever made grow to be basically caught small mouth bass - cooked entire (minus entrails) over an open hearth - their waiting whilst the scales peal lower back. With Cinnamon bread made in a dutch oven and a few maple syrup for the bread. yet whilst your no longer extremely into that, you may make some super rice dishes with surprisingly plenty besides the fact which you go with and a super variety of seasoning salt. a speedy one is foil food - set out tin foil and upload uncooked hamburger meat, diced potatoes, carrots, onions, and a few salt and pepper and each and all of the seasonings you like. Wrap all of it in 4-5 layers of tin foil and stick it interior the warm coals close to the hearth - yet no longer touching open flame and their often waiting in a one million/2 hour to 40 5 min finding on the hearth - basically verify the hamburgers cooked by using. ultimately enable your mind's eye flow with it - of the years i've got been in scouting, I even have on no account chanced on something you are able to desire to no longer make over a camp hearth, and we've performed each thing from Cajun fried rice and chicken to chocolate birthday cake.
