Going to Australia 26th July and my sister-in-law has asked me to take some Paxo stuffing across with us (apparently the Ozzy stuff not up to much). I know customs are very strict over there regarding food stuffs. Need to know if I am allowed to take over.

Australia is a lot more strict about a lot of imports than other countries.

You should be fine though. According to: http://www.daff.gov.au/content/publications.cfm?Category=Australian%20Quarantine%20fixand%20Inspection%20Service&ObjectID=91BEA21E-F661-4C28-993E5D87CAB8AF20 "commercially prepared, cooked and raw food and ingredients" are fine.

You HAVE to make sure you declare it though. Check here: http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=4353 for details.

Gang, I'm assuming she's talking about UNMADE Paxo stuffing. It comes in a box as a dried good.

Why don't you get in contact with Ozzie customs in advance to see if it'll be a problem.

Nooo..it's strictly banned. The only way you'll get it through will be to make like a Roast, if you get what I mean.
Tip: Use Lube.

I think as far as food goes it is the likes of meat, fish and dairy produce. Should be ok though.
