You see - there is no point around the Malteaser that would suggest it has been held or touched. The chocolate is totally smooth.......

would have thought they would dip them but some one could possibly be sat painting them with a little brush

Aha! Good question. I shall reveal all: I am a Mad Scientist from 700 years in the future. I invent a Time Machine then, and hire a billion tramps with gingivitis to suck the "chocolate" off trillions of Maltesers, which are actually the spawn of the common spacetoad. Then I go back in time to a while ago, put the machine into reverse, and the tramps spit out chocolate-covered Maltesers which I sell at huge profits to the unsuspecting public of the twentyfirst Century.
