The F-14 is officially retired as a Navy Fighter jet. I would guess a couple of Middle Eastern Countries have them. Our new fighter (Of the USAF): The F-22. Undetectable by radar, cruises at supersonic speed, it could kick any plane's a**. The F-18 is the current Navy Fighter

The United States Navy used the F-14 Tomcat...but it is being withdrawn from Navy squadrons and will be completely removed by September 2006. They will then be replaced by the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. After 2006 only the Iranian Air Force will be using F-14s. They purchased 79 Tomcats in 1979 just before the fall of the Shah of Iran to the current theocratic regime. After the 1979 falling out between the USA and Iran supplies of spare-parts and spare Phoenix missiles for the Iranians were halted (because of this, in the Iran-Contra affair of the 1980s some of the equipment supposedly given to the Iranians included F-14 spares). By now only some 24-40 F-14s are in active squadron service in the Iranian Air Force, the rest believed to be cannibalised for the rare spare-parts.

The Primary users are the United States Navy and the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. I think the Navy has retired all the F-14s but I dont know the current status of the F-14s used by the IRIAF. Iran got the F-14s before revolution.

It is a US Navy fighter, but is currently being phased out of service to be replaced by the F/A-18 E and F model Super Hornets.

A small number were sold to Iran in the late 70's early 80', and they might still have some flying today.

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was a twin-engine fighter/interceptor aircraft that entered in service at the end of the sixties in the US Navy as carrier-based aircraft. It was as powerful as expensive, so only another air force could afford it: the Iranian Air Force. In fact, the Shah bought 79 F-14A in the seventies.
While the US Navy retired from service the last F-14 at the beginning of 2006, substituting them with the F/A-18E/F, the Iranian Air Force still maintains a few aircrafts, perhaps less than 20, using them as a sort of AEW platforms.

i would say only the usa. Israel uses f16, britain uses harriers and tornados, germany uses tornadoes also and f4, france uses those delta winged craft and the euro fighter, russia uses migs and sells them to iran, china, nkorea, and many other countries. I think the f14 is just too old and outdated to be sold, probably costs alot to operate also?

No. whether the lines between 0.33 international and not 0.33 international are final by way of technologies. 0.33 international worldwide places oftentimes have cellular telephones and computers now. And further and further jobs are outsourced to them. yet whilst there's a line between first international and 0.33 international, u.s. is maximum quite first international. There are undesirable factors of the rustic, it has constantly been like that. and those undesirable factors have very virtually constantly been blacks and up to date immigrants. yet even the worst factors of the U. S. are extra helpful off than third international worldwide places. how a lot of human beings on your community die from starvation? no longer malnutrition... starvation? what proportion die from very bodily obtrusive illnesses that could desire to be cured for a $3 prescription of penicillin?
