I am still a Catholic.
The Da Vinci Code was interesting fiction but was riddled with lies and half truths. Do the research.
With love in Christ.

Yes. The Da Vinci Code was a complete lie, many art scholars said that no one would paint in such a code. Also remember the Da Vinci Code was a FICTION book.

Well Reading the Da vinci code was more interesting than reading the Bible. For me Da Vinci code is a mystery novel and Bible is a fairy Tale. BUT, Da Vinci code sounds more convincing than a mixed up Bible

Im still a Roman Catholic even when I havent when to church for too long a time now.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if the Church comitted heinous crimes in the past like the Spanish Inquisition.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if there are tons of indespicable news about paedophile priests.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if Mary Magdalene is proven to be the wife of Jesus and they have descendants up to this date.
Im still a Roman Catholic if sometimes I get angry at God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit for not making my life the way i want it to be, or putting me in a lot of pain.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if Protestanism and Fundamental Christianity seems like very seductive alternatives.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if I dont believe in some of the Church's Doctrines.
Im still a Roman Catholic even if Im the last one on earth to be so.
I was Baptized and Confirmed Roman Catholic, and I will be a Roman Catholic until I die, even if i die by accident, disease or suicide.
Because I believe in one Universal God, and the sanctity of the Holy Trinity. And I do my best to respect and love other people, and cherish life as it is given. Nothing else matters.

The Da Vinci code is a fictional novel interlaced with some facts. There is no actual truth in it. Just a writer with a VERY good imagination.

What truth are you talking about exactly? In quoting Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code", the last lines of the "Fact" page at the beginning of the book clearly states. "All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are true." Does it say anything about the storyline being true? Not at all, so i really don't understand the hype with "unravelling the truths" of the novel. So i'm sure you know the my answer to your question
